Cable Testing – Hipot

Hipot testing involves applying an overvoltage to the cable system for a short duration to verify the dielectric integrity of the system (cable, splices, and terminations). In most cases hipot testing is applied as a pass/fail or go/no-go test. Our team of highly trained engineers can perform testing and offer the client with the highest level of technical support.

Insulation Resistance Test

Insulation Resistance Test is done to verify that the insulation of conductors and electrical accessories is satisfactory, and that live conductors or protective conductors are not short-circuited, or do not show a low insulation resistance.

Sheath Testing

Sheath Resistance testing is a key onsite diagnostic test for identifying potential cable faults. Commonly known as a Megger Test, it uses a Megohmmeter to measure the resistance of the cross-linked or thermoplastic compound to an applied DC voltage.
